1. Aim of the platform
The platform offers a space for sharing personal experiences, memories and voices of a diverse urban society. It is aimed at anyone who would like to participate or discover contributions.
2. Participation and content
By uploading your content, you confirm that:
- You own the rights to all uploaded material or have obtained the relevant consents
- no rights of third parties will be violated (copyrights, personal rights, data protection)
Please note the following information about the images you upload:
- No private information, personal data or depictions that violate personal rights may be shown on images, in particular no recognisable persons without express consent or private details such as addresses, documents, licence plates, telephone numbers, etc.
3. Respectful exchange
This platform thrives on open, constructive and respectful dialogue. Please pay attention to the following:
- Use objective, fair and respectful language
- Respect other perspectives, even if they are controversial
- deliberately discriminatory insults, personal attacks, provocations and content are not permitted
4. Inadmissible content
Your posts must not contain the following:
- Content that violates applicable law (e.g. violence, incitement to hatred, hate speech) as well as discrimination, hate speech, defamation, threats or slander as well as racist, sexist or misanthropic statements. This is based on the human rights enshrined in the Basic Law and the fundamental rights of the Federal Republic of Germany.
- False information, conspiracy theories, spam, advertising, commercial content, prohibited symbols and signs
- Posts without direct reference to the platform or the topic
- Private information and correspondence
5. Moderation & consequences
As the operator of the platform, Stadtmuseum Dresden reserves the right to
- Review, edit or remove posts if they violate these terms of use
- Temporarily or permanently exclude users from uploading/commenting
- To document criminally relevant content and forward it to the authorities
There is no entitlement to publication of all submitted contributions.
6. Rights for the use of your content
By uploading, you grant the Stadtmuseum Dresden a simple, non-commercial right of use to use your contributions within the framework of the platform and for museum purposes (e.g. digital or analogue public relations work).
7. Liability
You are responsible for the content you upload or share. The Stadtmuseum accepts no liability for your contributions or for third-party content.
8. Amendments
These terms of use may be amended if necessary. The current version can be viewed on the platform at any time.
