You can recharge your batteries in the museum garden created in 2006/07. Under the green canopy of Japanese cherry trees, benches invite you to linger.
The garden can be hired as part of a civil wedding ceremony for a champagne reception or for a get-together at a conference.
Sculptures by Dresden sculptors Lothar Beck, Peter Makolies & Frank Maasdorf can be discovered in the museum garden.
The garden, planned by the landscape architecture firm »Rossa + Banthien«, was awarded the »Gardens in the City« prize by the Saxon State Ministry for the Environment.
Visitors with limited mobility can access the garden barrier-free via Landhausstraße (under the fire escape) and via the museum café.
Museum café
The museum café on the ground floor of the Landhaus invites you to linger in a cosy atmosphere. The room of approx. 50 m² can be used for readings, lectures or training courses. It offers space for a maximum of 40 people. A coffee and snack machine is available for guests of the exhibitions.
