Chmelnyzkyj is the capital of the Khmelnytskyi region in western Ukraine with a population of around 270,000. The industrial and university city is the cultural centre of the region. There has been a solidarity partnership between Khmelnytskyi, Dresden and Stuttgart since 2023. The exhibition provides photographic insights into the time before the outbreak of war and into the city's present. The exhibition is a cooperation between the city of Khmelnytskyi, the state capital Dresden and the Dresden City Museum.
