The Forum ImagePrintPaper is an open platform for the exchange of ideas about collective imagery, printed products with mass appeal and the diversity of luxury paper. The spectrum of content ranges from motifs such as the battle of the sexes, the upside-down world or the age of life to the various pictorial media such as illustrated sheets, leaflets and school murals to luxury paper products such as devotional pictures, greeting cards or cotillon articles (further examples of luxury paper can be downloaded here in the keyword list). The Forum shares its field of interest with international associations such as Le Vieux Papier. Société pour l'étude de la vie quotidienne à travers les documents et l'iconographie (France), The Ephemera Society (Great Britain) and The Ephemera Society of America (USA).
The Forum ImagePrintPaper is aimed equally at private collectors and interested parties from museums, archives, libraries, universities and research institutions, but does not require formal membership. It organises international annual conferences at various locations, where it enables participants to discuss topics relating to image, print and paper.
